Last week’s State Budget has confirmed that the Agency Capability Review Program is now permanent.
The ongoing program delivers a consistent, sectorwide approach to improvement by identifying and analysing the capabilities needed to be a high performing agency in the Western Australian context.
The program commenced in 2021 as a 2 year trial, with 8 agencies reviewed in this period.
The review has been successful in providing agencies with clear direction on where to focus their efforts for maximum performance improvement.
Reviews are undertaken in collaboration with agency leadership and staff and aim to support each agency’s continuous improvement process.
Each review is led by an independent reviewer external to the agency and supported by a dedicated team at the Commission.
