This ANZAC Day many Western Australians will pay tribute to those who have served our country.

Last year with the nation in lockdown, we found new ways to pay our respects on lawns, driveways and balconies across WA by participating in Light Up The Dawn.

This year sees the return of ANZAC Day commemorations, including the Dawn Service at the State War Memorial in Kings Park.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the event will be limited to 10,000 people.

To manage numbers and enable contact tracing, attendees must register online ahead of the event.

Registration is free, but is limited to six people per registration.

If you are attending an ANZAC Day service, you can stay COVID safe by:

  • Practicing physical distancing where possible
  • Covering coughs and sneezes with a tissue or your elbow
  • Washing your hands and using hand sanitiser

Most importantly, if you are feeling unwell in any way you must stay home and get tested for COVID-19.
