We are committed to keeping you informed about the things we have been doing to ensure we keep delivering our services and statutory functions, with transmission of COVID-19 in the community.
Vaccinated workforce
Our workforce is compliant with the mandatory COVID-19 vaccination policy and meets vaccination requirements for external site visits.
Having our workforce ready and able to work throughout the state is one important way we will continue to ensure a high level of service, including our important regulatory functions.
Business continuity planning
Based on our experience responding to the pandemic over the last two years, and informed by the WA Government’s Updated Safe Transition Plan, we are updating our business continuity plan.
DWER representatives will communicate regularly, when required, with our stakeholders to ensure clarity of service provision and responsibilities during any potential disruptions as a result of COVID-19.
We also want to hear from you and better understand how we can respond or help your business from the impacts of COVID-19.
Meetings with DWER
To keep our workforce and workplace safe and healthy, and reduce the risk of COVID-19 transmission, we have directed that our staff shift all face-to-face meetings to online videoconferencing or teleconference, where possible.
If you are required to visit a DWER office, you can check in using Services WA, SafeWA or use the paper-based contact register and ensure you wear a mask indoors at all times in the Perth, Peel, South West, Wheatbelt and Great Southern regions.
