The Stirling Women’s Centre redevelopment project has reached an important milestone, with the appointment of builder Shelford Constructions Pty Ltd to deliver the $22.6 million project.
The new Stirling Women’s Centre will significantly increase the availability of accommodation for women and children escaping family and domestic violence from five rooms to 16 independent units.
Designed by architectural firm Whitehaus, the new Stirling Women’s Centre will incorporate diverse community needs compiled through ongoing consultation with representatives from culturally and linguistically diverse, lived experience and Aboriginal communities.
