What we do

Housing and Works oversees the construction, maintenance and refurbishment of public housing – prioritising affordable housing initiatives for the community – and other key government infrastructure projects including public schools and police stations.

We are responsible for social housing works, tenancy management and the provision of housing in remote Aboriginal communities. We also manage properties used by government employees.

To support other government agencies, we manage office accommodation, State Fleet and deliver agency procurement and statutory planning and asset policy services.
