Foundation Housing Limited has been appointed as the Community Housing Provider for the new affordable and social housing development in East Perth, marking a major milestone in the delivery of this transformational project.
Foundation Housing will be responsible for the ongoing management of the complex, including property maintenance, tenant services and community wellbeing initiatives. Their appointment follows a restricted tender process and detailed evaluation.
The East Perth affordable and social housing project will deliver up to 236 new residential dwellings for Western Australians in need by converting a former serviced apartment complex into long-term rental accommodation.
The first stage of refurbishment works has been completed, allowing the building to be tenanted, with the first residents expected to move in this month through a staged occupancy program.
