Staff from 4 agencies partnered with ‘A place of opportunity’ to attend the event:
- Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions
- Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development
- Department of Water and Environmental Regulation
- Legal Aid WA
Students heard how agencies are delivering important services that support people and communities across Western Australia, and how their university qualifications can lead to rewarding and meaningful careers in diverse fields.
The event builds on the ongoing partnership between ‘A place of opportunity’ and The University of Western Australia, with a shared focus on improving visibility of public sector pathways for students.
‘A place of opportunity’ works with agencies, universities and training providers to strengthen early career pathways into the WA public sector and ensure opportunities are accessible to students across the state.
