About the program
Western Australia’s Parks and Wildlife Service is set to launch an exciting 2 year graduate development program in 2025.
We’re looking for graduates to join our experienced teams to work in some of the state’s most spectacular natural environments across 9 regional locations - from Broome in the north to Esperance in the south.
Picture your next 2 years being surrounded by supportive colleagues, gaining practical and hands-on skills, giving back to the environment and regional communities – with time to enjoy WA’s natural environment at its best.
It won’t just be a job, but a chance to build practical skills while gaining experiences you'll remember for life.
As a Parks and Wildlife graduate you can use your degree to contribute to:
- conserving WA’s unique plants and animals
- undertaking prescribed burning and bushfire response to manage ecosystems and protect communities
- jointly managing national and marine parks, and conservation reserves with Traditional Owners
- visitor appreciation and enjoyment of WA’s parks and reserves
- conserving WA’s unique forests and ecosystems
- protecting unique marine and coastal environments
