Last updated:

All Western Australians aged 16 years and over can now roll up for WA and book a COVID-19 vaccine appointment at state-run community clinics.

This is the first opportunity for people in WA aged between 16 to 29 years old to get vaccinated.

People aged 12 years and over with underlying medical conditions, those who live in remote communities and Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander people are also eligible to receive a COVID-19 vaccine.

WA’s two-week vaccination blitz starts today, with the opening of a new vaccination clinic at the Perth Convention Exhibition Centre supporting the expanded vaccine rollout.

From today until Sunday August 29, the Perth Convention Exhibition Centre will be open from 8:30am to 6:00pm, 7 days a week.

Another vaccine clinic is set to open at Midland’s Centrepoint Shopping Centre on Monday 6 September.
