The Department of Mines, Petroleum and Exploration (DMPE) is now inviting stakeholder feedback on a package of new guidelines to support proponents in the operation of the changes introduced by the Petroleum Legislation Amendment Act 2024.
The package of guidelines include:
- management of subsisting titles;
- applying for consent to undertake scientific investigation;
- energy resource discovery policy; and
- annual assessment report forms and supporting guide notes.
