Following the latest health advice, the Northern Territory will transition to ‘very low risk’ as part of WA’s controlled border from 12:01am, Monday 12 July.

Travellers from the NT will be permitted to enter WA without quarantine requirements, but will be subject to the following strict conditions of entry:

All arrivals

  • Complete a G2G PASS declaration, which states:
    • they do not have any COVID-19 symptoms
    • which jurisdictions they have been to in the previous 14 days

Air arrivals

  • Undergo a health screening and temperature test
  • Be prepared to take a COVID-19 test at the airport COVID clinic if deemed necessary by a health clinician (voluntary asymptomatic testing is also available)

Land arrivals

  • Undergo a health screening at the border checkpoint
  • Have G2G PASS declaration checked.

Any recent arrivals from the NT who are serving their 14 days of self-quarantine will be permitted to end their period of quarantine on the same day that the NT transitions to ‘very low risk’, based on health advice.
