Aboriginal business leaders across Western Australia are invited to express their interest in joining Team WA at the World Indigenous Business Forum (WIBF) 2025, taking place from 28 to 30 October in Melbourne (Naarm).
Now in its 16th year, WIBF is a leading global platform that showcases Indigenous entrepreneurs and economic development.
The Department of Energy and Economic Development (DEED), through the Aboriginal Economic Development and Engagement Unit (AEDEU), is sponsoring a delegation of up to 10 Aboriginal entrepreneurs, small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and emerging exporters to attend the forum.
Eligible delegates will receive the following benefits:
- cover of flights to and from Melbourne, and accommodation costs while participating in WIBF;
- discounted conference tickets (to be purchased by delegates);
- B2B networking opportunities with Indigenous business leaders worldwide; and
- learning opportunities, including market insights, capital investment strategies, and business capability development.
The Department is committed to fostering Aboriginal economic participation and the advancement of First Nations local industries, businesses and people, in alignment with our Reconciliation Action Plan.
