Launched in 2006, Western Australia’s (WA) Innovators of the Year awards program has celebrated the State’s innovative and entrepreneurial spirit for 20 years.
We are pleased to announce the seven finalists recognised in the final two categories of this year's program:
- Government Innovation Award
- Young Innovators Award
From innovative solutions within WA's public sector to inspiring ideas developed by the next generation of changemakers, these finalists represent the talent, creativity and entrepreneurial spirit shaping the State's innovation ecosystem.
These finalists complete the 2026 WA Innovators of the Year cohort, with 30 finalists now recognised across eight award categories.
This year’s finalists were selected from more than 130 applications through a highly competitive process, including assessment by independent external evaluation panels comprising stakeholders from WA's innovation sector.
Winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on 2 November 2026 and will share in a prize pool of $310,000.
