Applications are open for the third round of the International Student Accommodation Subsidy and International Student ELICOS Bursary.
The Western Australian Government is continuing to assist international students who have chosen to study in Western Australia by opening a new funding round.
The programs are open to international students studying full-time in Western Australia.
The accommodation subsidy provides a one-off payment of $1500 to help cover accommodation costs.
The bursary provides a one-off payment of $1500 to help pay fees for the English Language Intensive Course for Overseas Students (ELICOS) course.
In total, $6.75 million in funding is available through these two programs.
They are funded through the WA Government’s $41.2 million investment in initiatives to boost Western Australia as an attractive destination for international students.
