Applicants can now submit expressions of interest for round 2 of the Investment Attraction Fund (IAF).

Focused on New Energies Industries, interested parties in the following fields are encouraged to apply:

  • Battery and critical minerals processing
  • Renewable hydrogen
  • Advanced manufacturing in wind and solar componentry
  • Carbon capture use and storage projects.

“The Investment Attraction Fund is a fantastic initiative by the WA Government which gives local projects the opportunity to take the next step in development or expansion," said Premier Roger Cook MLA.

“This new stream of funding has an important focus on the New Energies Industries to ensure WA remains at the forefront of new energy projects into the future.

“I encourage any eligible applicants to review the new stream and lodge their expression of interest for the chance to receive financial assistance under the IAF.”

The Fund will help grow and diversify the WA economy, create local and sustainable jobs and secure new opportunities, providing funding for projects in priority sectors, build on WA's economic strengths and embrace future opportunities.
