Expressions of Interest are now open to fill five positions on the Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Committee, with terms commencing in July 2025.

The Committee provides essential advice under the Aboriginal Heritage Act 1972 and plays a pivotal role in preserving and managing Western Australia’s rich Aboriginal cultural heritage.

This is a unique opportunity for individuals with strong experience in Aboriginal culture and heritage to make a meaningful impact. While applicants with expertise in anthropology, archaeology and engineering, as well as those with lived experience of Aboriginal culture and heritage, are particularly encouraged to apply, nominations are open to all with a passion for preserving Western Australia’s cultural heritage.

Nominations close Friday, 14 March 2025.
