Western Australians can roll up for WA and get a COVID-19 vaccine at community vaccination clinics and special events, as part of a ‘Summer Vax Drive’ from November 27 to December 19.

With no appointments necessary, there are more opportunities for the community to receive a vaccination during the three-week targeted initiative.

New pop up clinics will open during the drive, with shoppers able to get their groceries and a COVID-19 vaccine at a select number of Woolworths and Aldi supermarkets in metropolitan and regional areas from Thursday December 2 to Sunday December 5.

A list of locations will be available in the coming days on the Roll up for WA website.

Cricket fans attending Big Bash League matches can also get vaccinated at Optus Stadium at a designated pop-up clinic, starting with the Women’s BBL Final on Saturday 27 November and again at the match on Wednesday 8 December.

The ‘Summer Vax Drive’ complements the current state-wide vaccination focus, ‘Keeping Culture Safe and Strong’, providing more opportunities for Aboriginal people to access COVID-19 vaccines.
