The WA Government has announced a targeted grants program to assist small businesses highly impacted by the recent Perth and Peel lockdown four-day lockdown and interim restrictions.

The Small Business Lockdown Assistance Grants program will provide assistance of $3,000 to impacted small businesses in WA.

More than 15,400 businesses in Perth and Peel and 2,300 businesses in regional WA could be eligible for the program - including hospitality, catering, fitness, hair and beauty, and creative and performing arts, among others.

Small businesses can apply from July 19 online at the Small Business Development Corporation website (external link) with grant payments expected to commence by the end of the month.
