VIEWING STATE ARCHIVES
Original archives
- Please request before 4 pm on Friday 19 Dec 2025 to view in Leah Jane Cohen Reading Room, 3rd floor State Library, on Monday 5 January 2026.
- On Monday 5 January 2026 SRO staff will review archives requests placed during the holiday period.
- Usual service resumes — from Tuesday 6 Jan 2026, order by 4 pm to view by 11am next working day (see Ordering Archives).
Digitisation services
- Requests for digitisation of archives received during the holiday period (24 Dec 2025 - 2 Jan 2026 inclusive) will be processed from 5 Jan 2026 onwards.
Microfilm and microfiche copies
- No need to order; View/Scan when Library is open (see SLWA Opening Hours).
