The Department of Treasury and Finance has released its Strategic Plan 2026–29 that sets a clear direction for the Department as a unified central agency working towards a prosperous and resilient Western Australia.
The plan reflects the coming together of Treasury, and the Finance portfolio, namely RevenueWA and Procurement Policy and Strategy into a single, integrated central agency following the 2025 Public Sector Reform.
By bringing together economic, financial, procurement, revenue and policy expertise, we are better positioned to provide connected advice, services and outcomes from a whole-of-government perspective.
The plan was developed through extensive engagement with staff and stakeholders, reflecting the expertise of our people and the expectations of those we support and serve.
The plan is guided by a vision of a prosperous and resilient Western Australia, enabled by trusted advice and strong stewardship, and underpinned by DTF’s purpose of providing expert economic, financial and policy advice and services to support Government.
