A new supported housing facility will be built and additional funding for homelessness services will be provided in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

People with complex needs and low-income earners will be housed and supported in a purpose-built Common Ground complex, which will include at least 70 self-contained apartments.

An additional $6.8 million for homelessness services has also been committed, as part of the WA Recovery Plan.
