Following a recent confirmed COVID-19 case in Brisbane, WA Health has issued advice for travellers who have returned to WA from Queensland since Saturday 20 March, 2021 and who are arriving from today onwards.

These Directions are being issued immediately following the recent reported positive COVID-19 case in Brisbane and apply to any relevant arrivals who have entered Western Australia since 20 March 2021 and those who are arriving from today onwards.

All travellers from Queensland who have visited the exposure sites during the relevant times should be tested immediately for COVID-19 and self-quarantine for 14 days from the time they were at the high risk location.

These travellers will also be required to undertake a Day 11 test.

WA’s Chief Health Officer will monitor the situation closely and provide updated advice if further action is required.

Under WA’s controlled border arrangements, the following conditions apply to all arrivals:

  • Complete a mandatory G2G PASS registration and declaration
  • On arrival at Perth Airport, complete a health screening
  • Comply with any directions or quarantine requirements
  • Scan your G2G PASS to exit the airport.
