Cultural warning

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people should be aware that this website may contain images, voices or names of deceased persons in photographs, film, audio recordings or printed material.

  • Day One is an information session designed to give members greater awareness and understanding of the Department of Water and Environmental Regulation (DWER) business and service delivery. This context helps guide members in offering more informed advice and contributing to robust, strategic discussions.
  • Day Two is the formal meeting, where members review minutes and actions from the previous session, followed by a curated agenda developed in collaboration with internal staff and external stakeholders.

These meetings provide a valuable platform for collaboration, shared learning, and accountability. By deepening members’ understanding of DWER’s business and service delivery, the sessions foster meaningful engagement and empower members to contribute informed, culturally grounded advice that supports stronger outcomes for Aboriginal people and communities.
