Scam Awareness Week – STOP. THINK. PROTECT Against Impersonation Scams

A range of resources to help enhance your awareness and reduce the risk of falling victim to impersonation scams.
Last updated:

Scam Awareness Week has arrived from the 27th of November to the 1st of December. This is our yearly reminder to keep our wits about us and strengthen our defences against online fraud.

This year, our focus is on Impersonation Scams - instances where someone mimics the identity of a person, brand, or organisation for fraudulent purposes. These scams can manifest in emails, texts, and calls, constantly evolving to trick unsuspecting individuals.

As part of Scam Awareness Week, the WA Government has created a range of resources for risk management and tips to enhance your awareness and reduce the risk of falling victim to impersonation scams.
