Site licences
Dangerous goods site licences allow the storing or handling of dangerous goods on a site under the Dangerous Goods Safety (Storage and Handling of Non-explosives) Regulations 2007.
Pipeline registrations
Dangerous goods pipeline registrations allow the holder to construct, operate, and maintain pipelines that transport hazardous substances under the Dangerous Goods Safety (Storage and Handling of Non-explosives) Regulations 2007.
Privacy Collection Notice
The Department of Local Government, Industry Regulation and Safety (LGIRS) collects personal information for the purpose of:
- regulating the manufacture, storage, transport, supply, handling, or use of dangerous goods in Western Australia.
- processing your application,
- administering licences and registrations,
- undertaking compliance and enforcement activities,
- undertaking engagement and educational activities
Your personal information is collected as required of us under the provisions of the Dangerous Goods Safety Act 2004.
If you do not provide the requested information, LGIRS may be unable to process your application, or provide the relevant services.
Your information may be disclosed where authorised or required by law. This may include an online licence search, a publicly available register, shared with other departments at LGIRS, to other government agencies, regulatory bodies, emergency services, employers, site operators, transport operators, and other third parties.
