How to set up an account and login to the ServiceWA mobile app

Due to system maintenance, myGovID is unavailable between 10.30pm, Thursday 27 January and 4.00am, Friday 28 January. You will be able to complete setting up your Digital Identity using myGovID once this is completed. 

Setting up the ServiceWA app is a comprehensive and secure process using your Digital Identity.

Key steps:

  1. Download the ServiceWA app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
  2. Open the app and login using myGovID.
    During this process you will be redirected from the ServiceWA app through the WA Government Digital Identity exchange and the Australian Government Digital Identity System. Here, your identity will be verified using your myGovID, and you will be able to log into the app.
  3. Add your mobile number once you have authenticated your login through myGovID. The ServiceWA app will send you a text message to verify your phone number, which adds to the security of your account set up.
  4. Account set up is complete - Once you see this page, you are done.

When you first set up and login to the ServiceWA app, it’s important to allow roughly 30 minutes to complete the process.

Once you’ve completed this initial set up, you can easily enable and access multiple state government services within the ServiceWA app.
