Mr Blagaich brings extensive leadership and regulatory experience across education, training, quality assurance and governance at both State and national levels. Mr Blagaich is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Catholic Education Queensland Ltd and a current member of the Non‑State Schools Accreditation Board Queensland and works regularly from Western Australia.
Mr Blagaich served as Chief Executive Officer of the WA School Curriculum and Standards Authority (SCSA) from 2011 to 2023 and led the integration of training certification within the Western Australian Certificate of Education. He was also an Expert Panel member of the Commonwealth Government’s 2019 Review of the Australian Qualifications Framework, supporting reforms focused on modernisation, portability and cross‑sector alignment.
