Courtney Barron commenced as Acting Assistant Director General, Business and Corporate Services in May 2026. She has over 17 years experience in the public sector, having previously worked in Senior Executive roles at the Department of the Premier and Cabinet and the Western Australian Electoral Commission, and brings expertise in Strategy, Governance and Public Administration. Courtney holds a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from the University of Western Australia and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
