Matt Darcey is the Assistant Director General, Land Use Management at the Department of Planning, Lands and Heritage.
Matt Darcey commenced in the WA Public Sector in 2014 as Executive Director of the Regional and Metropolitan Services of the former Department of Lands. Matt is passionate in providing quality land use management services and administration under the Land Administration Act 1997, and Aboriginal lands held by the Aboriginal Lands Trust under the Aboriginal Affairs Planning Authority Act 1972.
Prior to joining the WA Public Sector, Matt held senior leadership roles in the Northern Territory Public Sector for over a decade, delivering Government commitments, policy, legislative and regulatory matters for sustainable natural resource management and ecologically sustainable development.
