This assessment of contaminants in the Swan and Canning Catchment Drainage System is a baseline study conducted as part of the Non-Nutrient Contaminants Program (NNCP). The NNCP is a four part program, of which this study represents one component.
This study has identified and quantified a range of contaminants entering the Swan Canning system that are typical of an urbanised catchment. From this baseline information subcatchments have been identified and prioritised for further investigation.
