This collection notice explains the collection of personal information by the Department of Planning, Lands and Heritage through the Referee Report form.

The Department collects this information for the purpose of assessing the suitability of an individual who has nominated you as an employment referee. Your contact details are requested so that we may get in touch with you if we need to clarify details you provide or obtain further information.

Your personal information may be shared with the Department’s Recruitment team, an interview panel and senior officers involved in the hiring approval process and the applicant if requested. Note that interview panels may include an independent panel member from an external recruitment provider. The Department will only use or disclose your personal information for a secondary purpose with your consent or where permitted by law.

If you do not complete all the required fields, we may not be able accept your referee report.
