This series of notes:
- provides advice about the roles, responsibilities and requirements of proponents, state government agencies and local governments when following the better urban water management process
- assists planners, land developers and planning and environmental consultants to provide the required district and local water management strategies and urban water management plans
- assists state government agencies and local governments to assess the required district and local water management strategies and urban water management plans
- explains how water resource management is to be considered at all levels of land planning.
