The Kent River catchment is one of five Water Resource Recovery Catchments in the south-west of Western Australia. This report concentrates on the hydrology, salt and water balance of lakes Nunijup, Poorrarecup and Carabundup.
The objectives of this report were to simulate the streamflow and salinity generation processes; understand the salt and water balance of three lakes; and assess the impacts of tree planting on the water level and salinity of Lake Nunijup.
