Industry Bulletin 171 – Transition to lead free plumbing products in Western Australia

On 1 May 2026, clause A5G4(2) of the Plumbing Code of Australia will take effect, mandating the use of lead free copper alloy (mainly brass) plumbing products and material in contact with drinking water.
