The Salaries and Allowances Tribunal issues a Judicial Report annually with recommendations as to the remuneration of Judges, District Court Judges, Masters of the Supreme Court, Magistrates and the Parliamentary Inspector of the Corruption and Crime Commission.
On 2 October 2026, the Judicial Recommendation Report was issued, with effect from 1 December 2026.
In accordance with the Act, this report is to be tabled in each House of Parliament within five sitting days of the Minister for Public Sector Management receiving it. Changes to remuneration will come into force from 1 December 2026, unless either House of Parliament, within 15 sitting days of the report being tabled in that House, passes a resolution disapproving the Tribunal's recommendation.
