The Scale Up and Production Ready grant streams have now closed. Congratulations to the recipients who have secured funding for five projects that will help grow Western Australia's battery manufacturing sector and strengthen the State's role in Australia's clean energy future.

About

The projects will support the development and manufacture of a range of battery technologies and components for residential, commercial, industrial, and defence applications.

Applications include residential energy storage batteries, large community batteries, inverters, and locally manufactured battery components.

Funding will enable the successful applicants to develop and test prototypes, purchase advanced equipment, and significantly expand their production capacity.

The projects will also improve local capability to manufacture components currently sourced interstate or imported from overseas, helping to build stronger and more resilient supply chains.
