The Department of Mines, Petroleum and Exploration (DMPE) asserts that the expedited procedure applies to exploratory titles based on the protection offered by RSHAs and by the combination of the regulatory procedures offered under the Aboriginal Heritage Act 1972 and the Mining Act 1978.
