The Risk Management in the Procurement Context Guideline provides an introduction to risk management concepts and terminology relevant to managing risk in the procurement context.  The guideline explains why State agencies need to manage risk, provides examples of procurement process risks and contract deliverable risks, and outlines the contractual liability cover provided to State agencies by the Insurance Commission of Western Australia.
