Situated in the heart of the Goldfields-Esperance region, Kalgoorlie-Boulder is the outback town where WA’s mining story began.

Its historic streetscapes, strong community spirit, and deep connection to the resources industry make Kalgoorlie-Boulder a great place to raise a family and get a quality job.

As one of Western Australia’s Seven Cities, Kalgoorlie‑Boulder’s future will build on its existing strengths and new opportunities, including critical minerals processing, unlocking strategic industrial land, and a modernising freight network.

Projects delivered or underway across Kalgoorlie‑Boulder and the Goldfields‑Esperance region are helping to create local jobs, strengthen essential services and infrastructure, and unlock new mining and resources opportunities for local and regional communities.

If you want to learn more about the jobs available in the regions, visit WA Jobs and Workforce Hub to search for WA Government jobs.

You can also visit TAFE Western Australia to explore the range of courses available, including fee free and low fee courses, and find pathways into careers in emerging and in-demand industries.
