The Southern River integrated land and water management plan was developed to facilitate the implementation of the Southern River/Forrestdale/ Brookdale/Wungong urban water management strategy (JDA 2002).
The report sets out management requirements for water management at the regional, local and lot scale, including specific targets (design objectives) for the management of surface and groundwater quantity and quality, and potable water use.
The plan contains requirements for monitoring, auditing and reporting to support an adaptive management approach.
