Western Australia’s Contaminated Sites Act 2003 and Contaminated Sites Regulations 2006 took effect in December 2006 and were due for a statutory five-year review.
The first stage of the consultation process ended on 28 September 2012.
We received 31 submissions from a wide range of stakeholders including environmental consultants, local government, state government agencies, industry, professional associations and one community group.
