Key policy commitments and actions in progress by the WA Government to achieve continuous improvement in social and environmental outcomes for Western Australia are outlined in the inaugural Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Information Pack released November 2021 and complemented with the May 2022 and June 2023 updates.
This demonstrates the WA Government’s commitment to achieving the Paris Agreement objective of net zero emissions by 2050 and the importance of supporting Australia’s pursuit of the objectives of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
