The principal aim of the project was to assess Perth’s ambient air for its Volatile Organic Compounds composition and concentration.
Volatile Organic Compounds are a subset of the group of air pollutants called air toxics or hazardous air pollutants.
The contribution of some of the more reactive components to smog formation was also studied.
