LNG exporters report annually and confidentially to the Department of Energy and Economic Diversification (DEED) on compliance with their domestic gas commitments. The WA Domestic Gas Policy Reporting Framework sets out the LNG exporters reporting requirements and enables DEED to assess compliance against the exporters respective domestic gas commitments. LNG exporters are required to report on:

  • LNG delivery and contracting;
  • Domestic gas supply and contracting;
  • Reserves, including the adequacy of reserves to meet contracted LNG and the remaining domestic gas commitments;
  • Construction, maintenance of and access to domestic supply infrastructure; and
  • Marketing activities and strategies. 

The WA Domestic Gas Statement includes some information contained in the LNG exporters annual domestic gas compliance reports.
