The Warren–Donnelly surface water allocation plan ensures water is allocated in a way that maintains a reliable water supply to irrigators and to support the social and environmental values of the rivers in the area.
We developed the plan in response to studies showing that some river catchments may be at risk of over-allocation in low rainfall years.
