Western Australia has one of the most culturally and linguistically diverse communities in Australia. We recognise this diversity as a strength and are committed to ensuring our services, regulation and engagement are accessible, inclusive and responsive.
The Multicultural Plan 2026–29 outlines how we will strengthen multicultural capability across the Department and embed inclusive practices into our everyday work.
The plan focuses on:
- improving access to our services and information
- supporting inclusive and respectful workplaces
- strengthening engagement with culturally diverse communities
- embedding multicultural considerations into decision-making and service delivery.
This plan builds on the progress of previous plans and supports fair and effective outcomes for culturally and linguistically diverse communities across Western Australia.
