Anzac Day Trust Grants

About

The grant is provided by the Anzac Day Trust (ADT), a body corporate under the Anzac Day Act 1960 (WA), and is administered by the Veterans Office at Defence West

The Anzac Day Trust Grant funds organisations to deliver projects that result in meaningful outcomes for veterans and families of veterans in WA.

In 2026, the Anzac Day Trust will seek grant applications for the funding of projects, activities and initiatives that address the following areas of need for the WA veterans community:

  • employment, education and financial navigation and transition
  • family wellbeing, peer support and social connection
  • regional and isolated cohort access and outreach
  • commemoration and community connection to military heritage.

Successful applicants will share in an award pool of up to $1.3 million.

Grant applications are considered on an annual basis. Multi-year applications for up to three years of staged funding will be considered.

Timeline

  • Grant applications open: 25 April (Anzac Day)
  • Grant applications close: 30 June
  • Shortlisting and interviews by the ADT Trustees: September - October
  • Minister for Veterans announces successful grants: 11 November

How to apply

To apply, click on the 'Apply now' button below and complete the online application form. Remember to email yourself a copy of your responses using the radio button provided at the end of the online form.

The purpose of the form is to allow you to make the best case for your application and allow the Trustees of the Anzac Day Trust to make informed recommendations to the Minister for Veterans of the Western Australian Government. As with all public funds, applications need to be accompanied by an appropriate level of detail and justification.

The Trustees will consider all projects that deliver measurable outcomes and value for money for the WA veterans community.

Please contact the Veterans Team at veteransoffice@dpc.wa.gov.au if you have any queries or concerns regarding your application.
