Communications and engagement

We understand that trust is built through transparency, and we’re committed to delivering timely, accurate information that supports informed decision-making on the State’s natural resources.
Last updated:

We use a range of platforms, from face-to-face events and digital newsletters to webinars and social media, to reach our community. We prioritise plain language and open dialogue, especially when explaining complex regulations or geoscientific data. Strong communication and engagement help us build partnerships, reduce barriers, and foster shared understanding.

Our engagement approach is guided by respect, accessibility, and collaboration. We aim to ensure our communication is relevant, responsive, and easy to understand. We actively listen to community feedback, industry insights, and Traditional Owner perspectives, incorporating these into how we shape and deliver our services.
