All petroleum activities are required to have a department-approved environment plan in place before the start of any activity.
Last updated:

An Environment Plan (EP) forms part of the environmental documentation required to accompany an application for approval to carry out petroleum and / or geothermal activities in Western Australia.

An Oil Spill Contingency Plan (OSCP) is required as part of the implementation strategy of an EP for all petroleum and / or geothermal activities.
