Design WA is a State Government initiative to ensure good design is at the centre of all development in Western Australia.

Design WA is a suite of policies that aim to create built environments that reflects the distinctive characteristics of a local area. 

Design WA aims to enhance streetscapes and neighbourhoods by promoting developments that contribute to the creating of vibrant and liveable communities. 

Design WA supports ongoing reforms and improvements to the planning system to bring beneficial changes to the built environment.
